Yes, that's my gripe -- it should be called something else other than Art -- it shares some of the intellectual properties but falls flat when it comes to the art part -- even Picasso's great ideas on perspective get old -- &Nowadays using magnification, tracing projectors, etc, to make photographic paintings is more the stuff of artisans not artists -- it could easily be taught to people who can hardly draw -- All that said, I guess in the end we have to leave it up to the market...again! LOL -- the market picks out the tradition and genre quite astutely
