China, thank you for your plastic baubles
Your wolves in sheep’s clothes
Electric eyes to see who dawdles
Fentanyl to make it sordid
Your Godfather who rules our shores
Our heathens beg your forgiveness
Please let’s just do business
The lamb can reside with the wolf’s temptress
We all could do with one more empress
Sorceress, mistress or enchantress
In a world of plastic, you’re the bestest
The vain West owes you one fat apology
All traitors should be hauled unto darkened dens
China, thank you for not trafficking
For your immortal fighters…and all you’ve said
Please never run short of color for men
That be torture, that be sin
Never to risk your chagrin
The Reds are rolling in the green
Unlike the colors thoust of hair
It’s in the black, although your green’s not square
Thank you for the belt and road
Saving us from rank covid
For emancipating Africa’s nightmarish future
Xi whiz — you’ve stalked us to our beds
If the wolf had only warned us sooner
Lamb could’ve been served as pork instead
