…r life. I did not speak English, so I started to read books as a kid, I so loved literature, that I earned a PhD in English. I would read one book a day during the summer. I was addicted to reading. My life was not happy, for we were poor, but I went to used bookstores in Los Angeles, looking for old cheap Philip K Dick science fiction books. He remains my favorite science fiction author.
