To be honest, I didn't even know non-paying [members???] could get paid -- although I am very aware their reads don't count to paying members -- which is a double whammy! But they only get about three reads per month as well, so they can't read -- It's all illogical and stupid! Apart from the fact that Medium needs to attract as many people as possible to the site -
