Thought-provoking stuff Charles, I'm thinking people undergo "experiential avoidance" just because they can -- and probably find themselves down the rabbit hole in the matrix to no avail -- Could you imagine the future matrix -- everybody trapped at red lights in their self-driving Tesla, crossing the Tharsis plateau vicariously virtually! ...there probably won't be red lights - just slow and go for the matrix
