…ill’s “bathroom ban.” It’s based on the Utah transgender bathroom law¹¹ which takes effect in July. The Utah law requires people to use bathrooms consistent with the reproductive organs they had at birth. The Republicans preferred to apply a Biblical rule: “He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter”¹² a public men’s room.
