Glare o’ brilliant light aglow above me shine the orb
The hoary disc so tranquil incites the passion I adore
And how to bare a glowing torch held aloft in such conceit
This flare among tendrils tethered fast aye ready to beseech

Still afore me lay an ocean conquered by not war nor greet
Bloody is the outcrop upon which lay your mighty keep
Forced entry or a thief of love was never your mainstay
A cast of stolen prospects such is your fructuous play

Bright night delight in my sight may shooting stars comply
Transfixed betwixt a midnight sea and a shanty cry
My passage set, Poseidon’s voyage to your rocky nook
Upon your shore my ship is shook upon your shore I lie

Now breach the castle wall o’ glory, sacrilege so sweet
Who but I so bold deny such honor do entreat
A bluff I say this princess nay be sought in her icy realm
And all your charms lay in my arms, no need to take the helm

Sacred ground high upon your mound thus only lust for thee
Breach the battlements fast then cast all rivals out to sea
Let all fall down around me, the bravest and the small
Then upon your face I leave my trace and upon your love I sail
