There are some wonderful thoughts here, Paulette - if not 4am, then when? That's the question -- lol -- I was just thinking in a moment of clarity [probably at 4am] this 👆exact thing a night or two back -- just how vulnerable we are when we sleep...without one eye open [as I'm inclined to do - lol] -- Birds have a split sleeping and waking brain, which no doubt helps the nesting mothers' security!
