This is the lyrics to a spoken song (rap) about a real girl I come across (‘shoot and kill’ is a metaphor — but even that wouldn’t surprise me) — she has a couple of degrees — has lived in many countries — is black as the ace of clubs — originally from Uganda — and very quietly confident (to put it mildly). I was quite taken by her — but she was too bad. LOL. I would have liked to introduce her to Belle Starr😎 — The name in the song is an alias, though has similarities. The chorus would normally go between each verse.

The Underground Queen

You cheat and you steal and you shoot and you kill
You’re a runaway dear and nothing is clear
Why do I bother, I’ll go tell your mother
No she’ll just laugh and say don’t even bother
She’s a rebel, an outlaw and you’re just a sideshow
Oh mama pleeeeez just take me serious

She married a burglar to get all the jewelry
And when he got busted she snuck off to tell me
He should’ve been smarter — then burst into laughter
Yes this is the life and times of Kay Carter
A curious women — a force to be reckoned
So cool ‘n so cruel — so warm and so awesome

Says she left Africa — says that they banned her
Says she learned the ropes somewhere in Uganda
She gets around the world…
