serendipitous moon
a poem
The stars reflect betwixt cloud absorbed by light
Light lackadaisical breaching a serendipitous moon
The moon in its seventh house plies its shadows
The shadows refracted by a magic soul
A paradox intersects with paradise
An obtuse paradise mirrored in your dreams
Your dreams dissected by your nightmares
Of shooting stars and serendipitous moonbeams
Altered discourse and wasted shadow lands
Apparitions crack to set you free
A brazen star a faded glory
Conjoin with light to tell the truth
Collected paramount is the palimpsest
Where spilled fervour is bled dry upon the page
Reflect all those serendipitous moons contemplating
And begs just one more night to break your soul
