No, you bring up a valid point Jaylee -- my first choice was Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (The Young Ladies of Avignon) said to be the first piece of Modern Art (1907) -- Again, as with Picasso's women - their equality is compromised -- these are prostitutes -- but as you say he ruled his women, and their own talents were overlooked, which is a tragedy! Unfortunately, I couldn't get an allowable version, but this image is a great alternative -- due to the rolling eyes!
Avignon Street in Barcelona is where the prostitutes worked and Picasso frequented -- And thus I have the song Girls On The Avenue attached to the piece -- which is a great song! Without the Demoiselles d'Avignon however, it might not be as obvious.
All that said -- it's just a bunch of words -- lol!
But there is love involved !
Thanks for your great comment Jaylee -- I will try to do better in future - 😎❤
