Nice article Paul - You touched on it there - the Beatles are a Pop group - if you like pop, you will adore the Beatles [probably] - the Stones play rock n roll - Why is it [imho] that one of the Beatles finest moments is I Should Have Known Better ? Yet it is dated - but it has all the components of rock n roll. It has 'guitar' and harmonica - touching on quaint, but spectacular nonetheless.
