Nice article, Dr Neera - no i don't pretend to know a lot about Sri Lanka but I have heard they had one of the world's best performing economies not too long ago -- perhaps it [SL] was vulnerable to the vagaries of the times we now find ourselves, or perhaps corruption is rampant - as the protestors seem to believe- perhaps both! -- I believe the country was essentially being governed by one family!
