a poem
Perched at the edge of an ocean’s deep hill
Cast and lain for a thousand years
Transfixed in deep yoga nidra
Universal sleep can no light penetrate
Looking east toward the Ra represent
Rising in majesty but not authority
Reamed gold by a weapon bold
And sweet surprise within mine eyes
Eased with charm and sentiment
The fables bend not heaven sent
But cast aside in deep lament
And measured grace the human race
Whilst out the back a kingdom comes
In shrouded groups and arms of noise
On air they float with proud employ
Think mine eyes doth not destroy
But fall by arms aside deployed
Washed of hand and fleet of foot
And when bruised villi with contempt
By which each conquer the tenement
Wrathful assuage by increments
Come breach the sacred day
If ships depart on cover cruise
Behind the crown in case they lose
Sought out bounty and of booty
All…
