I am a little ambivalent in introducing new subjects superfluous to educational need -- -- I think complexity should be left for the subject not the curriculum itself. It seems many teachers have become overburdened by subjects that have few concrete objectives, apart from the political -- I think it was Oxford university where it took a century to include English as a subject -- it was thought that the use of the language was practical enough -- I certainly think bullying and discrimination in its darkest form should be taught by action rather than words [not only because certain types of discrimination are existentially determinant -- not the abusive type] but because actions speak louder than words -- that was the historic belief anyways! All that said, Adda -- I think you are certainly correct and have written a wonderful essay!
