Hi Wesley -- "design" is far less a leap of faith than "evolution" -- ironically -- given the latter is seen as logical, "sane" - standard theory! So too quantum theory -- and thus we have string theory - unlimited multiple universes [of which we just happen to occupy the one that works -- and all others are chaotic] or multi-universes [about nine universes] or a holographic universe [we are all holograms along with everything else reflected onto an outer "wall"] -- all "serious" theories derived from quantum mechanics -- all apparently more logical than a creator or designer, which is taboo, and can lead to unemployment -- So, we can't figure it all out, yet "rocks" can figure it all out and create it without a brain. All the while creating the mathematics and theories which underly it...and whatever else! And what is revealed in fossils -- not evolution, some variations on themes - but no change of kind -- [a dog should go back not to wolves but what before that? leap of faith - a fish thing] There was very little before the Cambrian explosion -- 500 million years ago -- then all "evolved" in 10 million years -- could man [ever] build atoms and cells put them together, let alone ten million years -- beginning with nothing except rocks and gas -- even with a brain and laboratory and building blocks already built [atoms, cells] -- So go figure -- scientists have faith in science and mathematics because it has worked brilliantly and created many things -- but they are not willing to give that power up easily -- so a bit like "woke" politics we are all expected to fall into line, else be a pariah! ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯ -- long story short -- I've written other poems on this -- Thank you Wesley
