Hi Jenine. The man who most likely did it was arrested and tried - but beat it, no witnesses. A man calling himself Edgar A.Watson moved nearby, Belle found out he was wanted for murder in Florida and when they had falling-out she threatened to tell authorities. She was seen to be worried about something around this time. That night she ran into him outside friends place, it was after she left friend's that she was shot by shotgun. He owned a shotgun. That said I wouldn't jump to conclusions - but that is the 'most likely'. Watson eventually died while escaping jail for something else. Thanks jenine. OH!! Old films have been made on her.
