Hi dearest Jaylee, Thanks for your [always] superb comment -- yes, I hadn't got a chance until now, you have left me an opening, but I was waiting for a chance to say that I have never heard Rod Stewart acknowledge Tim Hardin -- this is arguably Rod Stewart's finest moment [IMHO -- I would not put another clip of his up -- well, perhaps with Faces singing Ooh La La ...maybe!] Anywayz, Rod's worth a few hundred million and Tim died in the gutter - but no acknowledgement ever -- sure Rod sings other people's stuff without acknowledgement as well -- but they're not on the level of this tune!

I hasten to add, Rod could have acknowledged it on a record sleeve -- but I wouldn't know about that -- lol -- but I have never heard him say anything as such!
