Great article David -- my two cents, I agree with you - I prefer the Jimmy James rather than the reggae influenced version -- although I believe Neil Diamond feels otherwise -- I'm not keen on The Beatles cover nor the Boss cover -- apart from say Born to Run you'd have to be a superfan to cover Springsteen, anywayzzz -- I do like the 1981 cover from the Scorchers.
