DGD are quite eclectic...the following are my observations on my odyssey...and quest for DGD enlightenment:
Shark Dads - shades of Manic Street Preachers
Jesus H. - DGD at their thrashing best
Lyrics Lie -- Yes & Emerson, Lake and Palmer meet at the Mexico border [cuz why not!? - we all know what happened to My Chemical Romance down there] anywayzzz...they meet with DGD and decide to all thrash it out!
Mechanical Bull pin-up -- We can see DGD has an affinity with all things Mexico [border]
Synergy -- the antonym of Money by Pink Floyd - nice track!
Count Bassy -- nice vocals
The Robot Human Hair - what happened the night DGD met The Cure down the border!
Here Comes the Winter -- atypical of the core DGD sound
"Jesus H." -- been there Alexander, you're slipping!
Elder Goose -- just how I'm currently feeling, not particularly a fav!
Me and Zoloft -- I feel is quite atypical for this unatypical band!
Carl Barker -- starts out sounding like DGD have been imbibing the charm of BB King - quickly dissolves into a DGD diatribe...in a good way...except for the BB bit!
Antlion -- Yes DGD infuse their raw sound here - part ant part lion!
...Elvis is all shook up...Elvis has left the building.......................🎤
