Awesome piece, Noorain -- the Oracle of Delphi said Socrates was the wisest man alive -- and although Socrates had a lot of faith in the oracle -- he didn't believe she was right [well, Apollo - given she was the God's oracle] -- so Socrates relentlessly tried to disprove it - interesting character! ...and to no avail I should add...which of course was still not good enough for Socrates - he just genuinely figured he couldn't find someone wiser! Which didn't mean he didn't exist! Yes "He" -- lol -- a patriarchal society to put it mildly!
