Kind of a poem
Last Monday I went around to your place
But you weren’t home Simone
Then on Tuesday I decided we should hook up
So I went around to your place
But again you weren’t home Simone
So anyway come Wednesday and I’m out for a run — past your place and all
So I knocked on the door
And guess what? You weren’t home
Simone
Thursday, after contemplating the quantum enigma for nigh on four and a half hours…
and not being any the wiser
I thought, I know what, I’ll drop around your place
Unfortunately you weren’t home,
Simone
When Friday arrived, I tossed the idea around in my head of visiting your place
So I did!
But you weren’t home, Simone
I must have missed you, so I left a note saying I’ve dropped around every day for the past six and a half weeks but you weren’t home,
Simone
On Saturday morning I went around to your place
