I’ll await you in stormy weather
Among the ruins of never-never
Sought afar at disparate gorges
Risk the rocks and crevice fallen
Stoop towards the tether thrown
That you may fall toward my hand
Walk the trails, not tumble prone
Passages carved like seeds are sown
In ice, in winds of little shelter
Not smite nor sting, nor even fear
From a rocky ridge to leer
Won’t unsettle the heart sincere
Rejoin the journey by its plight
Never fall by darkened night
Ever-going to be the cause
In sunny sky, in anguished cries
Amorphous slide by foolish pride
When all is won, or in contempt
Never rest the weary head
The tether thrown will need recast
The catcher always in repass
The fling when rought upon release
Is caught by fools with tenet ease
Mused offerings, your counsel be
In fate you fall, not spite nor sorrow
A transient fling, the seeker weaves
While keepers of the outpost seize
